Have you ever been asked to show someone how to do something on your computer? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could record those actions and let that person view the video whenever they want to (so you can keep doing what you need to do)?
PowerPoint’s Screen Recording tool can be used to record your actions and audio on your computer, not just in PowerPoint. On the Ribbon, select the Insert tab, then click the Screen Recording button. The Control Dock displays; click the Record button when you’re ready to proceed.

To stop recording, press the Windows logo key + Shift + Q. When you stop recording, PowerPoint inserts a video object on the current slide. You can save this in a PowerPoint presentation or right-click the video object and select Save media as to save as an .mp4 file.
