Do you need to squeeze more text on the page? Does Word include too much space when you press the Enter key? You can fix this!
On the Ribbon, click the Design tab, then click the Paragraph Spacing button. Now you can hover your mouse over each selection in the list to see the spacing choices. Select No Paragraph Space if you want single line spacing and no paragraph spacing.
This will define the spacing for the current document only. If you want to make this your default setting for future documents, on the Design tab and click the Set as Default button. You will be prompted to confirm this selection.
